Journal Pictures? Appreciation???
I'm asking you guys-do you know how to make pictures-not just links to them-appear in a journal? I think it would be fun to stylize my journal with my art-and the art of people I admire like some of my friends do, but I don't know how to go about doing so, can you please help me?
Do you need a subscription? I really don't want to pay for a subscription, but I might. Maybe for a birthday present I'll ask my parents if I could have some extra $ to do so. I'm thinking about saving up for another laptop-every little bit helps-but only for writing purposes.
It would be fun to create a print account-but you don't make much of a profit if you don't have a subscription.
I'm starting to feel that DA isn't the best place for me as an artist. Sometimes I feel that my art just doesn't fit in, which might be a good thing. I feel like part of me is dying away, the part that drives me to keep submitting things here. Sort of like-what’s the point? It's like I submit things in hopes that they'll end up with lots of views, but they don't get to the place where I know they should be. Please do not think I do not appreciate EVERY ONE OF YOUR COMMENTS AND WORDS OF ADVICE, because I do. Thank you watchers! What I say might sound huffy or arrogant, but I am very talented and a very dedicated person. You have to know where you stand before you climb the mountain.

"You can do anything with a little passion and enthusiasm." Maybe I should try some other things, like applying for local galleries. It's good when you can form a network of artists around you.
Art is something I take very seriously-how about you guys? Do you think you could make a good career out of creativity? Writing? It's a difficult decision to make-right at the time where I need to start making things happen in my life. It's true, you have to be Noticed in order to survive as an artist. If people don't know about your work, it's just going to sit there and be unadmired. There are plenty of other artists here I know that are much better than me and don't get the attention they deserve.

You shouldn't fear that your art doesn't fit in with the da crowd. It shows you are original with your art. Most of the Da population is based upon Naruto and other anime fanarts. Every now and again you need that little spark of something special that sticks out amoungst the rest wich your art does. It just unfortunetly takes alot of time to get noticed such is an artists life sadly. But it's not such a bad idea to see if any local gallerys would like to preview your art. You never know you might just have that one person view your art and go 'wow . This is something special' and then you might go far with your art. It's always worth a try.
Maybe even give contests a go wether they are on Da or simply for some competition at your local book store. At any rate theres many possibilitys for you and your art.

this site isn't really suited for some, you could always apply around town to design Album covers for local bands, concert posters, loads of stuff! Join the local art group! I dunno xD Be creative!
