Artist's Comments I wanted to show you the step by step process of a watercolor painting. Prismacolor pencils were used as well!  About half a roll of artist tape was gone though with this tutorial, because I had to keep scanning it in as I went. Watercolor paper buckles if you don't keep it strapped down onto a hard surface. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. Ok go to your local crafts store-mine is hobby lobby-and you'll find artists tape. It's usually blue in color, and it won't tear your paper when you pull it loose. OMG I did that once-tore my paper-because I used some crap tape. Go the safe route and save yourself some trouble

I used watercolors with a round brush on the background for the details. ^^ There is no such thing as a dumb question! XD
Colored pencils are super fun with watercolors-try it out sometime!
