These pictures were taken when we went to NYC summer 2007 for the National Awards Ceremony. I made it in my ceramics class my senior year. The clock actually works! :heart:

What inspired me to make this book was a story that I started writing a long time ago. It's about a library and the books in the library all have clocks on them. The clocks called Keepers are in charge of telling a Librarian how long it's been since the book has last been checked out and they also help them decide where they should be in the library.

I hope you guys like it!

Wow!! I love this piece, it's beautiful. I like the closeup shot... I can really see the texture of the cover. And the clock really works? That's really cool! :D (I collect clocks, and I've been planning to make a few out of paper mache to put up on my Wall of Clocks. :D) This is am amazing piece, and you definitely deserved the award. :)

Wow, so that was done in ceramics? That's incredible!!!! The tecnique you use to get those effects must have taken a long time to come up with, it's beautiful!!!
