First of all, I'd like to say that this drawing is dedicated to Steve Irwin. I know his favorite animal was the crocodile, but he had a place in his heart for every creature on the planet, so this drawing is for him. He did so much for this
 , not to mention being one of my biggest role models.  I'll never for get when he said, "you can do anything with a little passion and enthusiasm." I try to live by this saying, even if sometimes it isn't so easy to follow. I titled this piece Mischievous Sun Jackal because of the Native American symbol for sun on his forehead and his expression. Originally he was supposed to be a wolf, but I drew his muzzle to short accidentally XD He ended up looking more like my dog April, who is a Shetland Sheepdog. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
