Snow Leopard

This painting turned out much different from what I expected. The colors were picked to make him look as if he is blending into his cold wintery environment. I ended up trying to use more wash techniques and made it less detailed than I expected. I'm trying to find the balance between detail and loose painting. It's very difficult to bring both techniques into a painting and make it turn out ok lol.
