            Stranger from the Desert

Elinis awoke the next morning to the sound of yelling coming outside of her tent. At first she thought it was a nightmare of the torture taking place back in her homeland, but then she soon recognized the yells as belonging to the stranger that had healed her before.

This is an entirely experimental painting. I’m still trying to get used to my new paints. I am very captivated by tigers. They symbolize power and life. I wanted to create a tiger who displays this life energy. Is he dissolving into a river? Or perhaps he is forming clouds in the stratosphere? Either way it is an imaginative piece. Tigers are known for their camouflage and secrecy. I loved watching him transform into the background as the painting developed. :love:
