This is an entirely experimental painting. I’m still trying to get used to my new paints. I am very captivated by tigers. They symbolize power and life. I wanted to create a tiger who displays this life energy. Is he dissolving into a river? Or perhaps he is forming clouds in the stratosphere? Either way it is an imaginative piece. Tigers are known for their camouflage and secrecy. I loved watching him transform into the background as the painting developed.

Thank you for the comments and faves!

Mediums used: Watercolor paints on watercolor paper. Reference photo is my own.
