_Horse Tone Study_

Weeee! More horses!

I am currently experiencing Finalitis-that is my brain is focused on school and problem solving rather than creativity. One more week and I'll be free!

I find that when my life is consumed by schoolwork I want to look at something and copy it and study it as much as I can. I'm not in a very productive mood, more of a experimental mood in which I try to learn as much as I can and not worry on if it looks good or not in the end.

These are two quick drawings that varied between 10 and 20 minutes each. I'm trying to understand toning and work with different textures.

Critique 'as long as it is constructive' is welcome. I'm trying to loosen up my style a bit and not be so Detailed. I found out that focusing on mainly lights and darks makes me see a drawing for its tone and nothing else. Does that make sense?
