Thank you *GloomyUnderwoods for suggesting it!  -------------------------------------------------------------------- Therapy piece! Heart Been feeling pretty stressed out lately. It's good to pick up some paints again. This was done with acrylics, prismacolor pencils and some ballpoint pen. Complementary schemes are fun-this picture makes me think of inflammation and passion. Overload. Stress. Overlapping of emotions and feelings. Accidents. Confusion. I used my fingers to smear the paint in some areas. Man, did that feel good.  What I like about this painting is the skeletal/muscular influences. Tried to turn tendons into designs. I can feel the whiplash. Pretty sure this will be in my show later this year.Done on a scrap piece of cardboard. I have no clue how long this took. My mind sort of zoned out. Used references from different anatomy books for the vertebrae. Thank you for the comments.  ------------------------------------------- EDIT I had to add a frame to this-it's so awesome. Touched up the tears a bit in photoshop. This is my new favorite picture in my gallery. EXPRESSION!!!
