Forest Spirit WIP

I'm working on a sculpture! It feels great to work in 3D again. This is made of sculpey clay. I just finished baking it and am working on painting it. My goal is to create a forest elk (inspired by the mythical Kirin) to look as if it is part tree part stag. Being obsessed with forest spirits/animals I feel like I should have created a sculpture by now. I've bought some fake tree-like branches that I will be attaching to the tail, which will be moveable. Such fun project...very time consuming, but fun!

I will post the final piece once I have finished painting it.
